"Crushing Again 2024 is an abstract composite sculpture composed of tumbling stainless-steel boxes yet [Augusta] originally constructed the concept out of kraft paper in an earlier version. Interested in material transference, Vinall Richardson sought to relocate the feeling of paper by working with especially thin steel. The surface bears traces of bodily negotiation through marks, scuffs, and dents left exposed. Although rendered in a more robust material, the sculpture retains a sense of precarity and potential collapse that emulates its paper antecedent." Catherine Woolley
